Cherry became a reality in 1991, when it came into existence in the form of "Samy and Raj Constructions" to venture into the real estates in the city of Bangalore India in the year 1989.
After going through various phases of transformation due to economical and political motivations, the name was changed to "Cherry Inc" with registered office in Bangalore India, in the year 1994.
Cherry Building maintenance was started in United Arab Emirates in the year 1999 under the sponsorship of his excellency Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qasim, registered in the emirate of Dubai, with offices in Hor Al Anz.
Cherry building maintenance became one of the premier companies in offering excellent services to the business community in the United Arab Emirates, with some of the focussed customers being RAK Bank, Cubics, Schlumberger, Danzas,Mazroui Engineering Products, the freezone companies of Jebel Ali, Hamriya, Sharjah, Ras-Al Khaimah
Cherry was the innovator of the superflat slab with tolerance of one millimeter in a meter, which was ideal for the installation of the magnetic controlled robotic forklifts in the sophisticated logistics warehouses in the freezones.
Cherry LLC (FZC)-RAK continues to offer services in engineering consultancy headed by Eng Mathur.
Cherry Inc-India continues to look after the real estate in the city of Bangalore.
Cherry International Inc-Canada was registered in Calgary in the province of Alberta, Canada in the year 2005 and continues to be in active state offering largely voluntary services in
multi-discipline engineering services. The provincial offices of British Columbia and Saskatchewan was formed in 2008 and 2013 respectively to be in the Active State.
We have executed varied Civil Engineering Projects from multi-storied buildings, Palaces, Complex of Villas, Warehouses,Composite structures,Roadworks ,Overpasses and Underpasses,Airport construction both new and rehabilitation,Dams and Bridges,Irrigation structures etc

Agnel A. George
Chairman & CEOA professional Engineer specialized in Civil Engineering, specialized in Project Management and Project Delivery on both Green and Brown field projects. Hold a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia and an Executive MBA from Levene School of Business Management-University of Regina.
Worked Globally in the Middle east, the Caribbean and travelled more than seventy- countries before ending up in Canada. Outside of Canada experience-25 years and in Canada-20 years

History:
1. Joined Knights of Columbus in August 2010 with St Matthews Council in Surrey BC and was
exemplified as Fourth Degree Knight in 2011.Took up positions as Inside guard between 2012
and 2013.
2. Moved to Regina SK in October 2013 and transferred to Fr Burns Council #5949 took up
Deputy Grand Knight position for 2014-2016, became Grand Knight for 2017-2019.
3. Joined Fr Hugonard assembly #1069 in 2015 and took up positions from Inner Sentinel to
Captain and Faithful Navigator in 2020.The other positions taken were as follows;
• Assistant Cluster Leader-2018-2019
• Cluster leader-South Regina 2022-to date.
• Michael McGivney’s Guild Association-Chairman
• New Council Formation Chairman-2018-2019
• Chapter President -Regina-2019-2021
• Fr Hugonard Assembly-Faithful Admiral and Trustee for three years.
• Candidate elect for the position of District Master for the Fourth Degree in

4. Joined Council #17190 as the Founding Grand Knight of council #17190 from 20192021.
5. Elected to State Warden from 2020 to 2022
6. Elected to State Advocate position from 2022 to 2024
7. Elected to State Treasurer position from 2024 to 2025
Contributed for the greater glory of God:
1. Recruited New Members-27- 2017, 98-2018,10-2019, 4-2020, 1-2021, 28-2022, 35-2023, and
12-2024 a total of 205 members.
2. Formed New Council -#17190 in collaboration with other State Officers.
Social media since-2016-todate -Daily reflections of the Word of God.
3. Started the WOOL Series-Word of Our Lord-Series during Pandemic-I have created around 400
videos about our Catholic Faith and is released every week since May 2020 and 288 Videos
have been released, with the intent of completing 7000 videos, which will make one video per
week for the next one hundred years.
4. Raised funds for the fraternity and involved in various charity works at the Council
Currently have embarked on a ten-year project to commemorate the protection of our Blessed
Lady from the Pandemic by proposing a 100-meter (tallest statue of our Blessed Lady in the
world) Statue of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception in the heart of Saskatchewan, projected
to be a $100M project with a timeline from 2020-2030.The preliminary introduction of the
project is ongoing at various levels.
Anitha Agnel
Vice-President OperationsAnitha Agnel is the Vice-President-Operations handling Cherry Group for more than twenty years.She is a Medical Post-Graduate and experienced in operations from hospitals to various businesses
Additional role as the Managing Director of Dr Anitha Speciality Hospitals.Her new qualifications are
1.MBA-Canadian Western University-British Columbia.
2.Masters degree in Medical Law-Indian University.

for recruiting 98 members.

7. Figured in the Ministry of health Saskatchewan for walking challenge for the greater glory of
God-a preparation for an ultimate Al Camino pilgrimage of 500 miles.
